Agate is the name given to numerous varieties of banded Chalcedony, a mineral of the Quartz family. Dendritic Agate, sometimes called Tree Agate, gets its name from a Greek word meaning tree-like. These Agates all have unique tree- or fern-like inclusions of iron or manganese, called dendrites.

Read the story of Ujjwal Agrawal a young man from India who sells these stones online and pays a fair price to the people in his village. ‘’I was studying to get myself into an engineering college in 2016 but couldn't get any kind of scholarships and didn't have the funds to pay by myself. I was in depression for six months after not getting into a college then decided to do something by myself to get funds. The dendritic agates have been cutting in my home from a very long time but as we didn't have any idea about the retail market we were selling them to people in gem stones business in New delhi, Jaipur and other cities in India. They were paying us a very very little amount for what they worth. I had an idea that they are being exported out of India so I thought why not find a way to connect to the businesses directly for retail. I did some research and after a few months and sending a lot of emails and messages I found a few people interested but I was shocked when I discovered the rates they were going there honestly. They were 10-12× more than what we were getting paid. So started this webshop to connect to small businesses who were totally not able to get them. Started providing them at reasonable rates with the best quality possible and some of the most unusual ones. After one year my sales were getting skyrocket and we were able to get a better living and give a better living to those who do all the hard work and never got credit or pay they deserved‘’.
