1. Payment

Direct bank transfer, iDeal & Paypal. The customer can use any of the payment methods listed in the webshop upon checkout. After you have placed an order you will receive an email confirming your order. All prices include 21% VAT.

Please note ; if you choose for direct bank transfer – the order will only be processed and made when the amount has been transferred to our account. This means that the delivery of your order can sometimes take two (2) or three (3) days longer than when the order is paid using iDeal or PayPal. In case you complete the order with iDeal or PayPal, your order will be sent to you within a maximum of seven (7) working days – see the heading shipping & delivery.

When a product is mistakenly listed with an incorrect price, Atelier Maureen Centen reserves the right to cancel the order for the product with the price listed incorrectly. Even when the customer has already paid for the product, the order may be cancelled and the customer’s money refunded.

2. Shipping & Delivery

The delivery time of our jewelry is based on the production time needed in our workspace. A collection item that is in stock will be shipped within 7 workdays, after receiving payment. Please note that this period is calculated without including the shippingtime. For orders on products that are not in stock and need to be made, contact Atelier Maureen Centen for details on production and shipping time. Dont hesitate to let us know if you are in a time crunch. When you choose local pick up, you can pick up your order at our atelier – Torenallee 103, Eindhoven. Contact info@maureencenten.com to make an appointment for local pick up.

Within The Netherlands we work with postNL. You receive an automatic track-and-trace code once your package is shipped. Orders for Europe and Worldwide will also receive a track-and-trace code once the parcel is shipped, from the third party that’s shipping your items. In each case, it allows you to easily track your order.
We carefully pack our orders in original Atelier Maureen Centen packing and ship the packages by registered mail. Expected shipment time depends on to which country we ship. Additional import, customs and sales taxes may be added in accordance with your country’s specific requirements. Please note we can’t be held responsible for any delays, damage or loss once the package has left our studio and is transferred to our carrier.

3. Return policy

We of course, hope that you are satisfied with your purchase but if for any reason you are not, you have 7 days from the date you received your order, to return the item(s) to us in perfect condition, in the original packaging.

We can only accept jewelry that hasn’t been worn and/or hasn’t been damaged. Jewelry that is custommade or made custom to your size or preferences can not be returned. It is important to know that we reserve the right to deny unreasonable repairs, returns and replacements. All Maureen Centen jewelry is entirely handmade from start to finish. Whilst quality is one of our foremost priorities, small imperfections are intentional and only add character and uniqueness to each piece.

If you want to return your jewelry, contact us first(info@maureencenten.com). When you’ve received a confirmation e-mail with further information, you can send your jewelry – note that this must be within 7 days – back to us.

You can exchange or return only collection items, jewelry that is made custom to your size and custommade jewelry can not be returned.
The customer is responsible for the shipping costs made for returning item(s). A refund of the full purchase amount, will be taken care of within 14 days after receiving the return.

4. Guarantee

There is a guarantee of 6 months from the date of purchase on all items. When a piece of jewelry, with normal wear, unexpectedly breaks within 6 months, the customer may send it back. The customer should contact Atelier Maureen Centen within 6 months via email(info@maureencenten.com) to notify the seller of the complaint including a picture, before returning the item.

Atelier Maureen Centen will repair your jewelry free of charge. If it broke after six months, as items occasionally do, you can make use of our repair service. For a friendly price we will repair your item and send it back to you, good as new.

The guarantee does not apply to any cracks in gemstones that occur, as they are fragile products, made by nature. When a gemstone breaks, please contact seller at info@maureencenten.com, so a suitable solution can be agreed upon.
A repair fee may apply. Atelier Maureen Centen can not be held accountable for normal wear and tear or any damage caused by wrongly use.

5. Custommade orders

A custommade order is a piece of jewelry designed and made to the wishes of the customer. The process of a custommade order takes time. Each piece is handmade individually from scratch, and as a result all custom items are unique, no two will be identical to each other. You will receive specific information about production and delivery time. Atelier Maureen Centen will start working on your custommade order after agreement and payment. The customer must pay the full amount up front. The order will not be processed until the customer has fulfilled payment. It is not possible to cancel or return custommade orders because it is personalized to the customers individual wishes.
